活动伊始，入场学生抽取“孝道”“友情”“秋菊”“茱萸”“纸鸢”五大主题符节，依主题分组入座，瞬间拉满沉浸式文化氛围。随着国学社同学悠扬的民乐演奏响起，联欢会正式拉开帷幕——古曲婉转，似将秋日重阳的诗意与厚重娓娓道来，让在场师生即刻沉浸于传统韵律之美。

At the beginning of the gala, students drew one of the five thematic tokens—"Filial Piety", "Friendship", "Autumn Chrysanthemum", "Dogwood", and "Kite"—upon entry, and seated themselves in groups according to their tokens, instantly creating an immersive cultural atmosphere. As members of the Traditional Chinese Culture Society played melodious traditional Chinese music, the gala officially kicked off. The gentle and graceful ancient tunes seemed to narrate the poetic charm and profound significance of the Double Ninth Festival in autumn, immersing all teachers and students present in the beauty of traditional melodies.

联欢环节中，“击鼓传花”“重阳诗社”“成语搭桥”三大互动游戏串联起整场活动的核心乐趣。“击鼓传花”环节，秋菊样式的花球在学生间传递，音乐骤停时，持花者用英语自我介绍，并分享自己国家的“孝道”小故事，让“敬老”文化在双语表达中自然流淌；“重阳诗社”里，各组围绕专属主题诗词展开中英双语演绎，茱萸组朗诵王维《九月九日忆山东兄弟》时，外国同学用中文诵读、中国同学即兴英文释义，诗词之美在语言碰撞中愈发鲜活；“成语搭桥”则成为速度与智慧的比拼，同学们以“中英文交替复述”的方式传递成语例句，最终优胜小组赢得茱萸香囊，在欢笑中深化了对中文成语与重阳文化的理解。

The gala’s core fun was woven through three interactive games: "Drum-Passing Flower", "Double Ninth Poetry Club", and "Idiom Bridge". In "Drum-Passing Flower", a chrysanthemum-patterned flower ball was passed among students. When the music stopped, the student holding the ball introduced themselves in English and shared a "filial piety" story from their home country, allowing the culture of "respecting the elderly" to flow naturally through bilingual expressions. In "Double Ninth Poetry Club", each group performed poems in both Chinese and English around their exclusive theme. When the Dogwood Group recited Wang Wei’s poem Thinking of My Brothers on the Double Ninth Festival, international students read it in Chinese while Chinese students provided impromptu English interpretations, making the beauty of poetry more vivid through language collision. "Idiom Bridge" became a competition of speed and wisdom, where students passed idiom example sentences by "alternating retelling in Chinese and English". The winning group finally received dogwood sachets, deepening their understanding of Chinese idioms and Double Ninth Festival culture amid laughter

活动尾声的“以茶会友”环节，国学社同学现场展示中华茶道，为每位同学奉上一杯秋菊清茶。茶香袅袅中，同学们开启Free Talk畅聊时光，从重阳习俗谈到文化差异，从诗词感悟说到生活趣事，温热的茶汤不仅暖了秋夜，更拉近了心与心的距离。

At the end of the gala, the "Making Friends Over Tea" session took place. Members of the Traditional Chinese Culture Society demonstrated Chinese tea ceremony on site and served each student a cup of chrysanthemum tea. Amid the curling tea fragrance, students started a Free Talk, chatting about Double Ninth Festival customs, cultural differences, poetry insights, and life anecdotes. The warm tea not only warmed the autumn night but also brought hearts closer.
